The festival will be hosted by the 5-star Premier Palace hotel from the capital city

PokerFest team organizes a live poker celebration in the capital, 9 – 15 October, titled “PokerFest 6 Years”.

This year, the Romanian live poker celebrates six years of existence in the light of the day. In 2011, the Romanian live tournament operator, Poker-Fest, officially launched its first hand in a poker tournament in Timișoara. Back then, the Main Event only had 56 competitors.

Meanwhile, it surpassed a thousand participants in a single Main Event under the PokerFest brand, and this year it broke the Romanian absolute record for the prize money: 706.560 € in the PokerStars Championship Main Event and over one million Euros for the entire festival which took place in Bucharest in early August. In short, PokerFest has every reason to celebrate its six-year anniversary.
And what is the best way to do that? By working.

The PokerFest team organizes a live poker celebration in the capital from October 9th to October 15th , entitled “PokerFest 6 Years”.
For the consistency of numbers, this time the Main Event will have a 600 euro buy-in and, as usual, the High Roller tournament will cost double, that is, 1.200 euros. But there is a star in the program: the Monster Stack tournament of 170 euros and a structure so attractive that it will certainly make a full house in the gaming room: 50.000 starting chips and a fast paced structure of blinds so that all players who finish one of the days 1 (October 9 and 10) will automatically enter the paid area.

The festival will be held in a perfect location for poker, but also for parties and relaxation.
The 5-star Premier Palace Hotel in the capital probably has the most complete and extensive spa complex in the capital, with a special relaxation building with several swimming pools, saunas, massage rooms and plenty of exotic options from mud packs of Techirghiol and up to the traditional Turkish hamam.
“PokerFest 6 Years” is one of the four major events organized by PokerFest towards the end of 2017. The autumn winter calendar also includes a cash festival in Malta (October 20th -23rd ) and will be crowned by Unibet Open (November 29th -December 3rd).

But the first Autumn Festival is the Unibet Romanian Poker Series (URPS) to be held at the Poker Arena club in Iași between September 20 and 24th, with two star tournaments: a 250 Euro Main Event and the customary high roller with the start on the first day of the festival and with a 550 euro buy-in.
In conclusion, there is another exciting end of the year for the Romanian live poker players.
