Casino Life & Business Magazine announces exclusively what it has learned from reliable sources: that the end of February will be dedicated to a festival organized by PokerFest in cooperation with the 888poker online operator.
The Romanian arena of live poker tournaments in 2018 looks very good for the fans of the game. The Romanian operator PokerFest did not wait long to organize the first festival and already announced the second one.
The Romanian Poker Series is the first tournament series to take place in the capital on January 14th, which attracted mostly the less deep pockets: the main tournament had a cost of only 330 euros and was accompanied by the new star on the live stage, the MonsterStack tournament of 170 euros and a high-roller of 660 euros, alongside smaller satellites and side-events. In other words, the RPS addressed all budgets and, for small amounts invested (the Main Event satellites cost just 40 euros), they received nice prizes.
The next meeting of the players in 2018 will take place for the first time in Poiana Brasov, between January 28th and February 3rd, that means during the best time for skiing. Piatra Mare Hotel will host a well-designed tournament series with a 550 EUR Main Event accompanied by classical side events and a number of other games prepared by the organizers right in the card-room.
The game room is a huge room and the participants will be able to have even ping-pong, fussball matches or darts right on the spot.
PokerFest Poiana Brasov is preceded by a massive series of live and online satellites. The live players will play in poker clubs across the country, and online qualifiers will take place on Unibet Poker, the partner of the festival and a great promoter of poker in Romania.
