Viva Group, the Turkish operator, is set to open a new casino with 10 gaming tables and 120 slots in the Astoria Grand Hotel in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
The gaming tables include roulette, poker and blackjack and the casino features some of the most popular electronic gaming machines. It has a restaurant with a-la-carte and open buffet and is based on the ground floor of the hotel across 1,000sq.m of space.
The Astoria Grand Hotel has 21 floors and 500 rooms and offers panoramic views of Sofia and Mount Vitosha. Facilities include the main restaurant, a comfortable lobby bar spa and various popular restaurant brands.
Ozcan Erulgen, managing director of Viva Group, declared: “We’ll be opening the new operation soon. It is already under construction and licensing will be completed in a few months.”
