While the legal ambiguity is hovering over the gambling industry in Romania, a new section in the exhibition theme was shaped, i.e. the betting section.
As it has happened before, our publication Casino Life & Business Magazine had its own booth and organized the ‚What’s the time…in gambling’ seminar for the second time, during the day two of Entertainment Arena Expo.

What is your take on the 2014 edition of the Entertainment Arena Expo?

The edition of this year really met the expectations of many. The pressure still pressing down on the stakeholders in this industry has been so visible. The visitors were still reluctant or probably confused by the numerous options presented to the detriment of permissiveness of making a real investment at the present moment. Even though, we enjoyed a real success for both the NEWTON 3.0 systems and the recent Amatic games.

This year edition brought a fresh inspiration, with funny events and new products for the gambling market, both from the Novomatic group and the other exhibitors.

The number of visitors was equal to the last year’s, but the exhibitors had a better planning.

Entertainment Arena Expo has been developing year after year and the edition of this year was a real summit. The exceptional organization and the quality of the services made us feel like home at this event.
From your perspective, was the participation of your company powerful enough?

To this question, my honest answer is ‚YES’. We have proved our dominance on the market, as visible in the contracts we signed during the exhibition and the partnership with Amatic, a cooperation that has brought better games than the ones already in use.

Like evey year, the participation of our company has reached its target both on the sales and on rental segments for gaming equipment. Similarly, we established cooperation relations with new partners, another agenda item that we have checked at the exhibition.

It was highly efficient, proved once again to our clients that we are close to them and understand their needs.
David Coldea – Baum Games
It is a sure thing that our participation to the edition of this year was productive, judging from the number of visitors to their surging interest in our products, multigame DRACULA’S GAMES and the most recent version, Dracula’s Game VII.
Plus, the BAUM BET betting terminals attracted a large number of visitors, as their immediate desire was to have them in their gaming rooms.
What was the feedback of the visitors to the products and services provided by your company?

In terms of the reaction from the visitors, we consider it a good one. If not the best, but it was extremely useful given the fact that the development of the systems on display is in full swing, once again proving the relations we have with each of our clients. Our objective to listen to the suggestions and needs of our clients and to implement them in no time has been fully reached.

During the exhibition, our existent equipment in the portfolio has added two new devices, PANTHER ROULETTE and V.I.P, which Novomatic featured and thrilled with the unique traits and innovative games.

The reaction of the visitors was very good, they showed a real interest in the novelties, especially that they have a quite attractive price.

More than ever, the guests to our booth expressed their intention to become our clients or to continue with our partnership so far.
What is your opinion on the ‚What’s the time…in gambling’ seminar, taking place on the second day of the Entertainment Arena Expo?

The seminar that the publication Casino Life & Business Magazine has organized, as it did last year, is a good opportunity to let us know about the latest in the field, to debate on the current issues in the gambling industry and to brainstorm solutions and valid proposals for such issues.

It is an extraordinary score for the market, which confirms the constant dialogue with the authorities contributing to the regulation of this industry activity.

We have applauded this initiative, which we thought to be good and interesting for the industry since its very start.
A large part of the speakers attending the seminar brought extra knowledge and the advice from the abroad guests was very welcome.
Moreover, the presence of Romslot and of the legal representatives to this seminar helped bring to the same table the parties that are directly interested in shaping a modern legislation in the Romanian gambling sector.
