The end of 2016 closes, as usual, in force for the Romanian community of poker players. This time it is the turn of the dynamic online Unibet Poker room to enjoy the popularity of festivals organized by PokerFest.
Between November 27th and December 4th, Bucharest will host an edition of the famous Unibet Open circuit.
The series will center a Main Event with no less than € 500,000 guaranteed. This is the largest guarantee ever offered by Unibet Open circuit in its 9 years history.
Tournament buy-in is € 1,100 and the maximum number of applications was set at 800 players.
The tournament will take place at the extravagant JW Marriott Grand Hotel, traditional location for PokerFest festivals.
For the Romanians, Unibet Open evokes a pleasant memory: the series is historically dominated by the Romanian player Dan Murariu who won the Main Event twice and made it to a few other final tables.
If € 1,100 buy-in seems – and actually is – high for many players, organizers have scheduled cheap qualifier satellites, bot live and online. The Unibet online platform provides qualifications for all budgets, starting from € 1 tournaments or even free, up to € 250 weekly satellite which provides a Main Event package. The package contains, along with the entry into the tournament, four nights accommodation at the Marriott, breakfast and dinner and € 250 spending money.
