A $70-mil apartment, one of his latest acquisitions
Steve Wynn, the 70-year old American mogul of casinos, is the proud owner of a luxury apartment in Manhattan, New York.
The magnat of the casinos in Las Vegas, whose wealth is estimated at $2.5 bn, has made investments in real estate. Steve Wynn has paid $70 millions to purchase a high-end apartment. This takes the 30th and the 31st floors in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York, the former ballroom of the hotel.
His new residence has numerous bedrooms, five bathrooms, a huge living, a guest room, a media room, a library and a terrace facing the Central Park. The apartment, spreading over 10.882 sqm, has been listed at $77.5 mil. on the real estate market – but Wynn, a crafty negotiator, succeeded to take out of his pocket $7.5 mil. less than the purchase price.
The American magnat intends to move into this apartment with his wife, Andrea Hissom, whom he married to last April. The media speculates that the latest acquisition of the mogul and his relocation to New York has a greater objective, namely to open a casino in the faimous American city.
