Casino Life & Business Magazine, as a partner of the greatest promotion of Mixed Martial Arts in Romania, was present at the most likely intense fighting show ever organized in Romania.
Real Xtreme Fighting (RXF), the biggest promotion in Romania and the incontestable leader in organizing MMA events (Mixed Martial Arts), reached its 17th national gala. The March 16 show in Craiova once again proved that the MMA in Romania is taking huge steps to rise to the level of the countries with a longer tradition in this sport.
Over 5,000 people attended the 11 tense fights among the best fighters in Romania and abroad within RXF 17 gala. The most spectacular and applauded combats were between Florin Boboc from Craiova and Tolea Ciumas, a three-round fight that was won by the latter sportsman. The main event of the evening brought face to face Ionut ‚Pitbull’ Atodiresei – the Romanian with the fastest KOs in the international MMA and his opponent from Chisinau, Samir Aliyev. Another highlight was Cristian ‚Superman’ Mitrea, a +95-kg category champion vs. English Marvin Campbell who lost in one round to the Romanian fighter.
The girls were at the superlative, too. Four of the strongest fighters of the Romanian MMA and Hungary entered the arena. The combat between Cristina Stanciu and Alice Ardelean was by far the most beautiful of the year in the national MMA competitions. Diana Belbita, the favorite of the locals defeated Renata Cseh-Lantos in three close rounds. Both fights had everyone present standing to ovations.
The RXF champion belt for the 70 kg category was awarded to Dinu Bucalet during the Craiova event.
Besides the live audience, the RFX 17 show in Cetatea Baniei was broadcast by channels Sport.ro and ProTV Internațional in over 20 countries, where it had a record rating, as hundreds of thousands of people watched it on television.
Real Xtreme Fighting expresses its gratitude for everyone contributing to the success of the RXF 17 gala, which enjoyed a great triumph with the public in Oltenia. It is the fifth time in a row when a RFX event was sold-out and the hall was full to the top.
For the next edition, RFX is planning a new surprise to the combat sports lovers in Romania. The RFX18 gala will take place in Cluj-Napoca and be one of the greatest shows of this sport in Romania.
