Casino Life & Business Magazine is yet again the media partner at the tenth edition of Feeric Fashion Week, the biggest fashion event in Eastern Europe.
For six days, over 30 designers both local and from abroad presented their latest collections, which surprised by their diversity and originality, in the most spectacular locations in Sibiu County and beyond.
The Feeric Gala, originally scheduled in the Small Square and moved due to the unfriendly weather at Redal Expo, featured six fashion shows.
Adriana Goilav opened the last day of Feeric Fashion Week at CFR Depot. Presented in a totally different environment, the „TransMORPHer” collection of the Romanian designer was put to the value by ECCO shoes and presented a way of ascending lines but also descending, ascents and descents of what we see and do not see.
The accessories were signed by Woven Atelier.
The live tones of the outfits have colored, starting with 5 pm, the exit of Sibiu to Rasinari, to which the audience arrived by tram, where the models could be admired carrying the Sarah Jessy Jones collection.
The Feeric Gala, one of the most anticipated events on the agenda of the most important Eastern European fashion festival taking place in Sibiu, was moved from the Small Square to Redal Expo due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The hosts of the event were Cosmina Păsărin and Derek Warburton, the international ambassador of the tenth edition of Feeric Fashion Week, present for the first time in Romania. Derek Warburton is the owner and creative director of Lapalme Magazine, distributed on both coasts of America, particularly in New York and Los Angeles.
He has also collaborated with various international stars, such as singer Beyoncé.
Last night, Feeric Venue hosted six collections of Romanian and foreign designers. Ivan Sighinolfi presented a collection dedicated to femininity and attention to details that make the difference. The „Harmonic lines”, as the title of the collection says it, highlighted the silhouettes of the models, through the contrasts and the precious fabrics of the dresses.
Out of love for the precious details and wishing to turn the stories into reality, „Bliss” was born, a collection inspired and dedicated to all the romantic and courageous women. Aida Lorena’s fashion show enjoyed live music. „Modern brides are found in the extensive collection of precious materials, intelligent cuts and bright applications, all designed to make the wedding day a dream come true,” says Aida Lorena. The Bliss collection included handmade details and dresses that were representatives for the bohemian, cosmopolitan or classic princess style.
Andreea Ciungan then presented „Reborn”, a collection inspired by the fusion of masculine and feminine style, merging them and showing an actual style. „The fashion collection is a combination of the minimalism present in the fashion of the last decades, various contemporary themes experienced especially by the Japanese creators, in contrast to western sensual outfits,” says Andreea Ciungan.

The Feeric story continued with L’Atelier Ioana Călin dresses. The collection contained nude, white and ivory tones, and the materials used were silk thread tassels, tulle, Swarovski crystals, glass beads, and hand-embroidery. „Love Story is the collection that gathers ten love stories. The inspiration for this collection comes from the love that two people carry and their desire to unite their destinies, „says the designer.
Diana Caramaci wanted to put her fingerprint on the universe of fashion through „Metallic Renaissance”, a collection with which she wanted to bring the Age of Renaissance back in the present at the Feeric Venue, with the clothes being made of materials with metallic structures. „Through this collection, I wanted to follow the architectural line of that period and adapt the dress of the models to the current line, though keeping the Renaissance details,” says the young designer.
The latest fashion show on the Feeric Fashion Week 2017 was Luna Morgaciova, who brought „Collageatrois avec maman”.
„The collection is a journal that encompasses what is happening in the mind of a female character with equally multiple and powerful personalities. It is a collage of emotional states. The combination of wearable art items, through textures rendered in textiles, jewelry elements and a powerful visual message, draws a picture of mixed realities, woven into an orderly disorder. It is a manifestation of freedom of expression and feelings, „Luna Morgaciova describes her collection.

Since 2008, Feeric Fashion Week has been able to astonish through diversity and originality, creativity of collections and appearances in the international specialized press. 2015 was an important year in the history of Feeric Fashion Week, because the festival was included in the official calendar of the most important fashion weeks around the world.
The FFW 2017 team counts more than 150 members from Romania, France, Italy and Argentina.
„It was a wonderful edition and I’m glad we lived it together! Every year, we try to overcome our limits and put our designers in the spotlight in different spectacular locations.
We also launched a new concept: Feeric Family. We actually are a family. At the end of September, we’re going to the fashion weeks around the world, just to bring people to Feeric Fashion Week in Sibiu.
That’s how we got to the tenth edition. I’ll see you next year, „said Mitichi, the initiator and president of Feeric Fashion Week.
Feeric Fashion Week is an event co-funded by the City Hall of Sibiu, the Sibiu Local Council and Sibiu County Council.
