Scientific Games announced it is acquiring NYX Gaming Group and its global digital sports-betting platform, moving into the sports-betting arena as sports betting moves closer to legalization in the U.S.
The move is just another in a series of buys by Scientific Games and “creates a global gaming and lottery powerhouse,” according to SCI President and CEO Kevin Sheehan.
