New Africa Casino was the first casino to be launched by KaiRo Management well-respected and established gaming group, in Africa in May 1997 and is located in the refurbished New Africa Hotel situated in Azikiwe Street, in the city center of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
In the early 90’s, KaiRo owned and managed casinos in the highly respected TGI Group which consisted of 9 operations in Turkey.
In 1996 KaiRo sold its Turkish interests and opened its first African casino in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 1997. Since then, the Group has grown throughout Africa and, together with local gaming authorities, has been influential in the creation of legalized frameworks for the African gaming industry.
The Group currently operates land based casino operations throughout Tanzania, Malawi (since 2003), Ghana (since 2004) and Ireland (since 2012) with a combined more than 50 tables and more than 400 electronic gaming machines. Furthermore, the Group is responsible for the marketing and management of on-line Ladbrokes.com products for the African continent and the Indian Ocean Islands, under a marketing agreement with Ladbrokes Betting and Gaming Limited in place since 2002.
