A good nose for business
Neil Bluhm was born in a Jewish family in 1938. When he was 13, his father left home. Neil was raised by his mother. He graduated from University of Illinois and started career as an attorney and partner to a law firm in Chicago.
In 1969, Neil Bluhm co-founded the JMB Realty, along with being president to numerous companies. He owns casinos in Vicksburg – Mississippi, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and in Des Plaines. Also, he is the owner of the Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls, Canada.
Big fan of democrats
The famous magnage hosted President Barack Obama’s 49-th birthday party. During years, Neil Bluhm made significant donations to Democratic candidates, such as: Hillary Clinton, Dick Durbin, Melissa Bean, Rahm Emanuel, Lisa Madigan, Rod Blagojevich, Lou Lang and Michael Madigan.
