The dealer who pays taxes is the name of the book that takes place in the European capital of iGaming and is filled with drama and addictions.
Malta is the decor of the novel that will make you think twice before taking on a job in iGaming. There`s more to this beautiful island in the Mediterranean sea than meets the eye. The book is loosely based on Márcinha`s experiences, however it is a story of fiction.
The dealer who pays taxes
The story is about Lívia who has moved to Malta from Brazil where she has lived for the past three years. She relocated for her new job as a live casino dealer. In the beginning, all seems to go well, as she quickly made some friends and is crazy in love with her new boyfriend. However, not everything is always as it seems and soon Lívia discovers that her boyfriend may not have the right motives and her friends are not as great as they appear. Will she be able to leave the island before she gets sucked in?
Márcinha Batenburg
While in university she worked as a model to earn some extra money. As soon as she got her Bachelor`s Degree, she decided to work on her future instead and opted for the office life. This did not suit her at all and as soon as she saw an opportunity, she ran right back to the spotlights. To work as a live casino dealer that is. It provided her with a life so interesting, she decided to write a book about it.
That didn`t come out of the blue though. She has always been an avid reader and she comes from a multilingual family. It may therefore come as no surprise that she is fluent in Dutch, Portuguese and English.
