European Casino Association

European Casino Association (ECA) appoints new secretary general announced via a press release early this week.

Hermann Pamminger is the new secretary general of the European Casino Association, the organisation announced this week.

“We are confident that Hermann’s many years of experience in the international gambling industry will be an asset for the ECA, especially in these difficult times,” said chairman Per Jaldung and he added “Hermann is well known in the industry, has been PR co-ordinator and a senior advisor to the ECA for many years and knows the legal and regulatory opportunities as well as the challenges of our business inside out.”

An executive director of the association, Veronika Tisold, has stepped down as she is going on maternity leave from her positon at the European Affairs Consulting Group.

The ECA represents licensed land-based casinos in Europe, with 30 members and over 70,000 direct employees supporting local economies across Europe. The main purpose and objective of the ECA is to address and promote issues related to casinos and/or casino operations. In so doing, the ECA provides a focal point on casino matters for casino operators as well as for EU and national policy makers and stakeholders.
