ENADA CONTINUES TO BE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE GAMING WORLD
Casino Life & Business Magazine is the only media partner from Romania to this important gambling event.
As usual, Casino Life & Business Magazine and Romanian Gambling Directory were presented at Enada.
The 35th edition of Italy and Southern Europe’s leading trade show for professional gaming, organised by IEG and SAPAR, closed at Rimini Expo Centre, together with the 5th Rimini Amusement Show.
• Exhibitors and industry operators satisfied with the three-day event full of business and discussions
• Climate of trust and greater cooperation between sector associations and institutions
• 25% more professional operators than at the 2022 edition
A veritable marketplace of reference for the entire gaming and amusement industry throughout Southern Europe. This said, after three full days of business and discussion involving the entire industry, the curtain came down on the event that saw the 35th edition of Enada Primavera and the 5th of Rimini Amusement Show held at the same time.
BUSINESS CONFIRMATIONS
Satisfaction was indeed confirmed among the exhibitors and operators who gathered together during these days – at the event’s historic spring slot – in the halls of Rimini Expo Centre. Numerous new ideas were presented at the show, demonstrating the sector’s dynamism. Enada, organised by Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with SAPAR, is also one of the few events that has never missed a single edition. The approval of the public and greater than expected business confirmation that characterised the two events held from Tuesday to Thursday, were therefore even more significant. In fact, the 2023 edition saw a 25% increase in professional operator attendance compared to the 2022 edition.
COLLABORATION WITH INSTITUTIONS
Further underlining the climate of trust and greater collaboration with the institutional world were the presidents of the trade associations, who at Enada and RAS – inaugurated in the presence of Euromat president Jason Frost – were able to discuss the future of the market and compare notes on the next goals to achieve together. This was evident at the conference entitled “The strategic role of territorial distribution and the supply chain in the Italian licensing system. Emergency Marche and beyond” organised by SAPAR, and confirmed by President Domenico Distante in his speech, which was followed by interventions from Emmanuele Cangianelli, President of EGP-FIPE, Geronimo Cardia, President of ACADI, Gennaro Parlati, President of Sistema Gioco Italia, and Massimiliano Pucci, President of Astro.
Flattering results also for the two days of EspoGame, a key appointment for the gaming business in Italy. A new look for this reference event on esports trends, which picked up the baton of the Esports Business Days to expand to the new frontiers of the Metaverse, blockchains, cryptocurrencies, NFTs and web 3.0. Prestigious brands and speakers took turns on the Vision Arena stage and, at the same time, in the parallel edition organised in the Metaverse, during appointments opened by the debate on the state of new forms of entertainment and gamification in Italy. Opportunities and prospects for the sector’s development were discussed with the voices of representatives from leading gaming companies, including LG Electronics Italia, with Raffele Cinquegrana, Barilla Italia, with Matteo Dolcini and Maria Vittoria Busani, Red Bull, with Andrea Contino, and D&G, with Davide Sgherri. The in-depth debate on the impact of gaming on the world of football, which sees esports as a new asset, was very well attended and saw the participation of Danilo Leone from Inter FC Internazionale Milano and Cristiano Muti from Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, among others. Gen.Z, sustainability and innovation were identified as new marketing keys for gaming at the event that also welcomed on stage the voices of Acer, with Maria Raffaella Micuccio, eBay, with Dario Cavallone and Azerion, with Tommaso Zeppetella. Lastly, focus on Web 3.0 in the cycle of talks that also involved representatives from Telepass, with Telemaco Rossi and Giuseppe Lombardo, and Five Elements Lab, with Vincenzo Manzon.
RIMINI AMUSEMENT SHOW
Another hall that proved to be extremely lively was the one for no cash prize gaming where visitors flocked to see the many new products on display, the “Play the Game Over” exhibition curated by photographer Jacopo Scarabelli, and the “JJP Pinball Fest” sports pinball tournament. Valid for the World Pinball Player Rankings, the pinball tournament organised by Luxury Games in collaboration with Ifpa Italy, used Jersey Jack pinball machines in the most sought-after versions.
The next appointment with the 36th edition of Enada Primavera and the 6th Rimini Amusement Show is scheduled to take place at Rimini Expo Centre from 12th to 14th March 2024. The sector will meet again before that in Rome for the second edition of Enada Workshop next autumn.
