Entertainment Arena Expo
Entertainment Arena Expo, now in its 16th edition this year, was held under the auspices of the new regulations that came into force as a result of the “Simonis law”, a law that has greatly muddied the waters in a sector that has been under siege for a long time.
Despite the difficulties and the fact that this year’s edition was by far the toughest since 2007, Expo 24 and the traditional exhibitors showed that the landbased gambling market is moving forward, which was the main motto of this year’s edition.
As expected, the number of exhibitors decreased, partly due to the withdrawal of some of the major players from the Romanian market, partly due to unjustified absences. In total a total of 31 exhibitors and 1296 unique visitors were registered, the latter mainly during the first two days of the exhibition.
This year’s EAE was a highlight for the gambling industry, ensuring the continuity of the main meeting place for all those involved in gambling and sports betting.
Supplementing the expo with a party at the Hard Rock Café on the first night was a welcome addition to the current situation, and it’s worth noting that for the first time in 18 years, Expo 24, the organizer of the Entertainment Arena Expo, presented a number of awards. Alfa Street, Casino Life & Business Magazine, CT Gaming, EGT, Novomatic and Patir are the exhibitors present every year without exception at the EAE, and they received the EAE Award, a special prize with a special charge given its significance and the current situation.
For 2025, Expo 24 is preparing an edition that will breathe new life into the Entertainment Arena Expo, in an efficient two-day format adapted to the current situation. The 17th edition will take place from September 9 to 10, in the now traditional Romexpo location, pavilion B2.
