Dusan Pavlovic, doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna will be a keynote speaker at the 7th edition of the Romanian Conference on Gambling, event held in Bucharest at the Parliament Palace on March 7.
Dusan Pavlovic is a doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna, Italy, and an external researcher at Tilburg University in Netherlands. He conducts research in the field of ICT Law with a particular focus on legal aspects of online gambling and privacy protection in Europe. Dusan’s doctoral research sheds a light on how online gamblers’ data processing affects gamblers’ protection in the EU.
The knowledge acquired through university education combined with hands-on business experience is funneled in interdisciplinary research which tends not only to independently contribute to the scope of science, but also to provide opportunities for practical problem-solving in the domain of online gambling and data processing. In addition, outcomes of his research can be applicable to different fields of online business. Dusan has obtained his education in six European countries on seven universities. He graduated in law, acquired LL.M. in IT&IP Law and also obtained Master in Economics.
He cooperates with Jakta – Serbian representative association of gaming industry.
