Our number of 116 and we will welcome them with a string of surprises, as we do every year.
What are your expectations from the 2014 edition of the Entertainment Arena Expo?
The last years of the financial crisis have left a deep impact on all the activity sectors in Romania, mainly in the production area. Nevertheless, we expect that the event of this year will bring new clients, interested in the innovative products that we showcase every year.
What is the products you will promote during the 8th edition of this exhibition?
For Entertainment Arena Expo 2014, we prepared the launching of the latest BAUM product, the Dracula’s Games VII multigame. This is what we have most dreamt about in a game, and so have the players.
The Gypsies II is a game with 20 selectable lines and three symbols on the reel. The display of three Scatter symbols on any of the reels will release 15 free games on any of the reels; four symbols will bring 25 free games and five Scatter symbols will release 100 free games. The novelty of ‚The Gypsies II’, compared to the prior one, is that the winning combinations will form both left-right and right-left during the free games.
Luck of the Irish is a 5 win line times 3 symbols on the reel game. The ‚Leprechaun’ symbol is Wild and shows on the reels 2, 3 and 4. It substitutes all the symbols, except for ‚Lucky Horseshoe’ and ‚Lucky Hat’. When the ‚Leprechaun’ symbols wshows, this will expand on the entire reel, replacing any symbol on that in order to form winning combinations.
Sultan’s Belly Dancer is the new 10 win lines and 3 symbols on the reel game. The ‚Belly Dancer’ symbol is both Scatter and Wild at the same time. This only shows on the reels 2, 3 and 4. It will expand on the reel where it shows, blocks it and brings a free game for the other reels.
The success that the Dracula’s Games multigames had in the Latin America made Rise of Maya possible, a game with 20 selectable lines and three symbols on the reel. Three or more Scatter symbols showing on any of the reels bring 10 free games ‚Extra Expanding Simbol’.
At the beginning of the free games, the player is free to choose the ‚Extra Expanding’ symbol that can be any of the symbols, save for the ‚Scatter’ and ‚OverBet’ symbols.
When the selected ‚Extra Expanding’ symbol shows during the free games, this will expand on the entire reel and replace all the other symbols on it so as to form winning combinations.
The ‚OverBet’ symbol is represented by the ‚Mayan calendar’. Upon its selection, it will replace both the ‚Scatter’ and the ‚Extra Expanding’ symbols.
How strong do you think the competition will be at E-Arena?
During the recent years, the Romanian market has hosted a more and more fierce and powerful competition. For this event, we expect to stand next to internationally known brands that have already or are planning to enter our market.
What do you think about the current legislation in Romania regarding the gambling sector?
Well, this is a question that needs a lot of thinking.
The reason is that there are now five legal initiatives in the pipeline and we and the professional associations in this industry are trying to come up with proposals and arguments for each of them, so that their impact upon the economy and the state budget be as small as possible.
Almost all initiatives, as they are now, would lead to significant monetary loss to the state budget and it would also have a negative impact on the employment market in Romania.
As I was saying, the gambling associations are looking for solutions and, along with the authorities, they search for the optimum version for an industry that is a serious contributor to the budget and for the end-user client.
I think that mentalities need to be changed. Many people do not realize that the gaming industry is also entertainment and the majority of the players are responsible for their actions.
What is your opinion about the fact that our publication Casino Life & Business Magazine organizes a new edition of the ‚What’s the time…in gambling’ seminar within the Entertainment Arena Expo ?
The fact that you had the initiative to bring all the decision makers in gaming together is a reason for joy and makes us look forward to attending this seminar.
