The famous Canadian player of Romanian origin, Daniel Negreanu, is not only into poker but he has real artistic skills. He appears in movies, along with personalities of the world cinema.
Daniel Negreanu, the well-known poker player from Canada, of Romanian descent, just loves playing in the movies. The first role he landed was in the ‚Tilt’ series in 2005. In 2007, he played a small role in ‚The Grand’, where he shared the screen with big names like Woody Harrelson and Shannon Elizabeth. The same year, he had a role in ‚Lucky You’, together with de Sam Farha, Barry Greenstein and Erik Lindgren.
From Wolverine to anchor man
In 2009, Daniel Negreanu had to play a scene in the hit movie ‚X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, and of course he played poker. This year, the Romanian-Canadian will be seen in two movies. One is the Canadian series, ‚Mr. D’ and the other one, ‚Detention’, where he will impersonate Brandon Czeczouceau, an anchor man.
