Ban on autoplay announced recently by the British Gambling Commission as part of the new range of restrictions on online slots.
The British regulator, the Gambling Commission, has announced strict new controls on online slot games including a ban on autoplay.
They including a complete ban on autoplay options, reverse withdrawals and on spin speeds faster than 2.5 seconds.
It will also ban sound effects or imagery that give the impression of a win when the return is actually lower or equal to the stake.
Players must also be given the option to turn off features that speed up play or give the impression that they can control outcomes.
Licensed operators have until October 31 to implement the new rules.

The measures follow a consultation that began in July. The Gambling Commission said that research showed that autoplay features can lead players to lose track of play, making it difficult for them to stop.
Operators must also clearly display players’ total winnings and losses and time played during a session.
“Another important step in making gambling safer“
Gambling Commission chief executive Neil McArthur said: “This is another important step in making gambling safer and where the evidence shows that there are other opportunities to do that we are determined to take them.”
The UK minister for sports, tourism and heritage, Nigel Huddleston, said: “Today’s steps will help curb the intensity of online gambling, introducing greater protections that will reduce the risk of gambling-related harm.
“I welcome the Gambling Commission’s tough measures as we continue our comprehensive review of gambling laws to make sure they’re fit for the digital age.”
Earlier this week, the Gambling Commission launched a new consultation on player interaction, which seeks to gain insights into interventions that can help prevent problem gambling.
