It seems that residents of New Jersey are in favour of PokerStars parent company the Rational Group taking over the struggling Atlantic Club Casino in Atlantic City.
The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) recently held a survey of residents there and found that from a survey of 998 PPA members that live is the state said the following:
– 96% say that the Rational Group should be allowed to purchase the Atlantic Club Casino
– 94% percent say they would visit the casino if PokerStars owned the development.
– 95% disagree that PokerStars is classed as a “bad actor” and should not be allowed to be licensed in New Jersey, the same amount therefor say that the American Gaming Association are wrong in its opposition of PokerStars being allowed to buy the casino in Atlantic City.
In all the members also said that 63% of them felt that PokerStars were on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, said that the poker site rated 5 with them.
Finally 96% of members of the PPA in New Jersey said they would play on a PokerStars website should it be available in the state.
