Voting begins for the 15th annual edition of the Romanian Gambling Industry Grand Awards, an event scheduled for December 9.
As every year since we launched Casino Life & Business Magazine, this year we honor the best representatives of the gambling industry with the Grand Awards, as a recognition of their merits over the year.
The 2021 edition is a special edition, being the 15th edition.
If last year’s Grand Awards Gala was 100% online due to the measures to fight against Covid-19, imposed by the Authorities, this year things are much more complicated.
The State of Alert decreed by the Government, during which any private party is prohibited, ends on December 8. The Grand Awards Gala is scheduled for December 9 and because we do not know whether or not the Authorities will extend the State of Alert, we are obliged to go on two options: a version with physical participation and one 100% online.
For us, the health of the participants is the most important and the observance of the Law is an obligation for any citizen.
But there is still some time until the event and we will find out which is the right option.
For now, we launch, as every year, the Vote for the nomination of the first three finalists in all categories.
This year’s awarding categories are:

13. Live casino of the year – Grand Casino, Palace Casino, Platinum Casino
14. Slot machine of the year – G32 EGT, Peak Slant 32 IGT, Sline EGT
15. Involvement in the industry – Dan Alexandru Ghiță, Sorin Georgescu, Cristian Pascu
16. Man of the Year – Anchidim Zăgrean, Sorin Georgescu, Dan Iliovici, Teodora Luca
As always, we will award Special Prizes, prizes voted by the editors of our magazine following our own surveys.
The host of the event, whether it will be online or with physically present, is, as every year, Codruț Kegheș aka Dezbrăcatu’, leading a show full of musical moments and surprise guests.
The vote that opens at this moment will last until December 1 at 24:00 and will be followed by three days of voting for the so-called Short List, this final vote determining the winners of the year in each category.
As always, we inform you that the accepted votes must come to redactie@casino-magazine.ro, have a unique IP and include the completion of the entire list of categories.
Of course, those who vote can propose both new nominees and new categories.
