Ukrainian Evenimentul Ukrainian Gaming Week

Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 postponed in the very last minute due to toughening of quarantine restrictions in the Kyiv region.

As the only media partners from Romania we have received the following Press Release from the organisers of the Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 (UGW 2021).

“Due to the increase in the number of new cases of COVID-19, on Friday, March 19, Kyiv regional Commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies decided to toughen quarantine on the territory of Kyiv region. The stricter restrictions will be in effect from March 21 to April 9. During this period, any public events will be prohibited.

Due to the current circumstances, in order to ensure compliance with all the requirements of Kyiv Regional State Administration, we are forced to postpone Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021.

When choosing KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center located outside of Kyiv as a venue to host the event, we were hoping to minimize possible risks and avoid situations with a ban on holding mass events. Our team did everything possible to ensure that event takes place on the previously announced dates. However, unfortunately, today the epidemiological situation has worsened in many regions of Ukraine, including the Kyiv region. Therefore, due to the tightening of quarantine limitations, we have no choice but to postpone the event to a later date.

We will announce the valid dates of UGW 2021 exhibition anytime soon!

After rescheduling the event, we would be able to expand the exhibition area and invite even more foreign exhibitors who haven’t had a possibility to join UGW so far due to quarantine restrictions in force in different countries of the world.

Stay tuned for updates on the website, in our social networks and a Telergram chat and don’t miss any news.”

The event was planed to take place between March 23 to 24 at KyivExpoPlaza.
