SPiCE India 2020 moved to March 2021
Casino Life & Business Magazine is the only media partner from Romania of Eventus International.
Eventus International conferred with their local partners in India to discuss the prevalent uncertainties and widespread health concerns as well as the country’s stand on travel and visa restrictions related to COVID-19.
SPiCE India is known to be the largest convention of stakeholders across all gaming verticals in the Indian Subcontinent. As can be expected, an event of such magnitude takes meticulous planning for which a significant amount of certainty is required. To date, the Indian government has given no clear indication of when travel restrictions will be lifted and internationals allowed to enter the country again.
“The health and safety of all our patrons is our primary priority and in view of the prevailing uncertainty surrounding the global pandemic, Eventus International has taken the decision to postpone SPiCE India to 2021,” stated Managing Director of Eventus International, Yudi Soetjiptadi.
Jay Sayta, Advisor to SPiCE: “The dates for SPiCE India have been postponed to March 2021 keeping in mind the health and safety of all participants. With the current government guidelines on containment of COVID-19 it would have been impossible to host an event of this size and magnitude. I am looking forward to the pre-SPiCE roadshow in January next year and the three-day SPiCE India event in March, which I am sure will be a huge success and break all previous participation records.”
Only the dates have been affected, the rest remains the same:
The official new dates for SPiCE India will be 23 to 25 March 2021. “Only the dates have changed. The rest of the arrangements for the event remain exactly as is. The venue remains the same and we look forward to welcoming you at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa, India. All delegates, sponsorship and exhibition packages paid for will remain the same, including the original exhibition space positions. In addition to extending the timeline, creating an extra opportunity for participants to equip themselves with the necessary preparations, we as organisers will also be expanding the floor space to create a bigger and better exhibition for 2021. Those who are keen to penetrate the Indian Subcontinent will now have the prime opportunity to still book a space at the show and benefit from the perfect platform for growing their businesses,” said Lou-Mari Burnett, Eventus International’s Marketing Director.
Safety measures to be in place:
SPiCE India will be conducted under stringent prescribed safety regulations and protocols and adhere strictly to governmental directives and guidelines to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all attendees. All participants will comply with social distancing measures to ensure responsible networking.
The Eventus International team thanks everyone for their continued support and looks forward to getting together safely in Goa next March.
