The Swiss police stopped a Ferrari almost flying on the Geneva-Laussane freeway, at a speed of 250 km/h.

The driver of the fireball was none other than Ronny Kaiser, the poker player.  The police officers were able to stop him only when he slowed down when he passed by a radar.  The fine was considerable.  While the offender declared that his monthly income was CHF27,000 (aprox. €22,400), the court asked him to pay an aching fine of €25,000.

Teased by the grudgers

When they found out about the size of the speeding ticket, the fault-finders advised Ronny to schedule as many tournaments as he can immediately after the incident, so he will not feel the effects of the big hole in his pocket.

Only 22, the Swiss poker player is a well-known name in the poker world.  His accomplishments include the EPT Tallin victory, where he received a prize of €394,491.  His total winnings amount so far to $1,046,604.
