Not only a feisty brunette, but she is one of the best poker players in Spain and the world. An open-minded person, Paquita Sureda sat nude for the ‚Interviu’ Iberian magazine.
Paquita Sureda has all the aces in her pack of cards. She is beautiful and enjoys a succesful career in a demanding industry, namely the professional poker. The Mallorca girl decided to go nude for a well-known Iberian publication, ‚Interviu’. The sensual brunette made an original pictorial, where she leaves nothing to guess. On the first cover, Paquita shows her breast to the camera, while holding a whisky glass in her hand and sitting at a casino table.
Surnamed ‚The Black Pearl’
Paquita’s nickname is ‚The Black Pearl’ in the poker world, thanks to her beauty. ‚I had no second thoughts when they asked me to sit nude. As long as I feel comfortable in my skin, I see no reason for not doing it,’ said the Spanish player. Inside the publication, Paquita talked about her huge passion, the poker game. ‚I have the poker flowing through my blood. I have run into this game in my childhood, saw my parents play it back then. Today, poker is part of my daily life. At 16, I was playing cash games of a high profile, surrounded by extraordinary players, from whom I had plenty to learn,’ she explained.
No belief in luck
‚I do not believe in luck when it comes to poker. In this game, you must be very disciplined, well trained to succeed’, confessed Paquita. She lives in Mallorca, a divorced mother of a four-year old girl. When asked about the reaction of the men she plays against during the tournament, she simply said,’some of them are losing their minds when a woman wins a hand, but I do not care at all. It is their personal business that they never learnt how to be good sports.’
Poker, a way to make a living
Paquita Sureda claims that the professional poker helps her live a careless life. ‚You can very easily make a living of poker, even though you have to pay high entry fees to be part of the tournaments. For me, going to the casino every day is like working. I have to make money here. And to earn money from poker, you must be consistent and serious about it. If you do it, money will start coming soon’, said the beautiful Iberian woman.
Paquita took part in tournaments like the National CNP Circuit, EPT, EMOP and WPT. ‚I am going to the big events, while considering the financial availabilities. You need to observe your rivals, have cold blood, forget about friendship during a game and never bet more than you have to – this is, I think, the recipe of success in poker,’ she added. About building EuroVegas in Madrid, she reacted,’It is a great news for everyone in the gambling world.’
