Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, one of the most exclusivist locations in Las Vegas, hosted mid-June the most awaited competition, Miss USA 2013.
Beauty, style, poise and opulence at Planet Hollywood Resort Casino, where 51 glamorous girls competed for the USA Beauty Queen title. The event took place on June 16 and the audience just loved it. The price of the tickets for the great finale ranged from 52.50 to 157.50 dollars.
Nick Jonas, master of ceremonies
The organizers of the 62nd edition of the Miss USA 2013 pageant invited singer Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers and charming Giuliana Rancic to be the hosts for the evening. The competition was broadcast in 90 countries all over the world. Last year, the winner was Nana Meriwether, from Maryland. She was given the much-desired crown after Olivia Culpo, Miss USA, had become Miss Universe 2012.
The new queen loves to cook
Erin Brady, representative of the state of Connecticut, is the winner of the Beauty Queen title 2013 for the USA. She is 25 and works as a financial accountant. Erin, who impressed the jury with her perfect body shape, confessed that she loves to cook. During the final stage of the competition, she managed to win over the representative from Alabama.
A casino famous for hosting beauty pageants
Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corp. During the years, many similar competitions were hosted here. Thus, between 2006 and 2009, Miss America pageants took place here; since 2008, the Miss USA have been here to entertain and in 2012, the location welcomed Miss Universe.
