MaxBet sponsorships for dozens of social responsibility projects
Throughout the 20 years of existence in Romania, through the thousands of people who have been part of its great team, the MaxBet company has shown and continues to show a continuous respect, responsibility and gratitude towards the Romanian society within which it carries out its assumed and professional economic activity, in Bucharest and 14 cities of residence in the country.
We are consistent supporters in various areas of social responsibility and we seriously get involved with our people, real volunteers who organize projects in their own name, in various corporate social responsibility actions, demonstrating at every level of society that we really care.
Our support for the education and the future of the next generations, amounts to 1.1 million euro and consisted of: financing the national school olympiads, granting social scholarships, supporting educational units by financing repair works and construction materials up to the complete renovation of a school in the countryside, donation of furniture for several schools in the countryside, provision of travel costs for international competitions and debates (Odyssey of Mind, NASA Conference, Ardor Association, etc.), donations of teaching materials, etc.
Thus, starting in 2022, we got involved and were with the BookLand Association, with a sponsorship of over 250 thousand euros, in the complete renovation of the “George C. Dragu” Secondary School in Coroiești, Vaslui county.
MaxBet’s full support of the training project offered to all employees in the gambling industry by the Responsible Gambling Association, represented another important project of our involvement. This initiative encourages the idea of responsibility in spending time dedicated to the fun assumed in a specialized gambling location, relaxing and creating a relationship of trust with the participants of this activity.
To support health and for all those who need medical support, we directly and fully supported with 1 million euro the construction of the medical helipad with day and night operation at the University Emergency Hospital, Bucharest put into operation in December 2019. Also here, in 2016, in collaboration with the Association Dăruiește Viață, 6 salons dedicated to stem cell transplantation were renovated. We continued with the Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation, through which we contributed to the complete renovation of the SUUB Food Block, with an investment of 150 thousand euro.
Serious and sincere collaborations last for many years and generate trust over time and lead to a significant contribution, such as participation in the “We make a hospital” project of the Dăruiește Viață Association, ranking us among the most important donors (5th place) or, through the same association, the renovation of a floor of the Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children “Louis Țurcanu” in Timișoara.
We also joined the Cystic Fibrosis Conference in Cluj, providing support for events that encourage research in medical fields, addressing conditions with a significant frequency.
We contribute generously to the Hope&Homes for Children project, providing a significant amount for the construction of the Respiro Center in Iași. This center is a place where children are protected and human values are fully respected and at the same time, it is an important support for those who need a safe environment and proper care.
Also important is the support given to the KinetoBebe Association in supporting pediatric therapy scholarships and a source of funding for scoliosis laboratory equipment, so that we can give children the chance to grow up healthy.
The annual internal event “Champions in Good Deeds”, organized since 2013, represented an important pillar in our commitment to social responsibility. All MaxBet team members actively participated in these actions, proving that everyone can be a champion in good deeds, contributing to the community.
Driven by the same principles, we have fully supported the Atletico Slănic Sports Club since 2014, a real school of national and international champion athletes, a club with a sports and competitive activity that covers the entire calendar year, continuously, year after year.
We also organized annual volunteering actions together with all colleagues through Shoebox-type actions. And starting in 2019, we joined the Felix Action Association, providing festive Christmas meals for all the association’s beneficiaries.
These gestures, actions, activities and projects represent our ongoing commitment to bring smiles and joy to the lives of those around us, throughout the year, not just during the holidays, when generosity and altruistic spirit are at their highest.
At the end of MaxBet’s anniversary year, we congratulate and send our best thoughts and best wishes to all the people involved in social responsibility projects and we wish the New Year with many achievements on all levels and countless joys for all members of our society.
