European countries have restarted casinos declared the secretary general of the European Casino Association Hermann Pamminger.

In a review of the countries of Europe where land-based casinos have been allowed to reopen, Hermann Pamminger, secretary general of the European Casino Association, has revealed that so far eight countries, all in central Europe, have so far restarted.

The countries where the land-based gambling restarted are Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro and Poland.

In all the countries where the traditional gambling started the sanitary security rules are on place in the land-based locations.

In Romania the activity will restart most probably on June 15 as stated by the Government officials during talks with the local gambling industry professional associations.

The European Casino Association (ECA) represents licensed land-based casinos in Europe, with 30 members and over 70,000 direct employees supporting local economies across Europe. The main purpose and objective of the ECA is to address and promote issues related to casinos and/or casino operations. In so doing, the ECA provides a focal point on casino matters for casino operators as well as for EU and national policy makers and stakeholders.
