In the 17 years since its launch, Entertainment Arena Expo has become an important event for the gaming industry in Eastern Europe, annually gathering equipment manufacturers and suppliers from around the world to present the latest technologies and trends in the field.
The first idea to organize an event addressed to the field of gambling came in 2005, the gambling industry was in major development at that time, but Expo 24 considered at that time that it had to better research the opportunity to organize a dedicated event for the first time. In 2005 and 2006, similar external events were studied, so in 2007 the decision was made to organize the first edition of EAE, considering that there is an active and growing market in Romania, which can generate a quality exhibition. For that first year, the exhibition was held in a location with a smaller area, but the demand was beyond the expectations of the organizer, this fact generated that in 2008, EAE was moved to Romexpo, the current location.
In the years that followed, EAE had ups and downs, primarily related to legislative changes that affected some of the exhibitors. Since 2015, the gaming industry has become much more stable, this is also reflected in the exhibition, which grew with each new edition, until the pandemic of 2020, which stopped the events for two years. The return from 2022 was difficult, with the exhibition taking place on a slightly reduced area, but starting this year, the EAE configuration returned to the original area for the 2019 edition.
Started as a local event, EAE has become a tradition within the gambling industry throughout the region. The exhibition has over time attracted people and companies from all over the world, thanks to the facilities offered and the people involved more and more in the gambling industry.
In 2023 the Entertainment Arena Expo reached its 15th edition, with over 4,000 visitors expected and top companies from the gambling and sports betting industry as exhibitors. Among the newest exhibits presented at the Entertainment Arena Expo from September 5 to 7 are innovative landbase and online games, intelligent gambling payment systems, solutions for the sports betting area and more.
Entertainment Arena Expo has become the main meeting point for representatives and specialists of the gambling industry, which offers participants the opportunity to get in touch with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, to talk with experts, to participate in the shows and competitions offered of exhibitors, being used by many visitors as a vehicle used to connect with this dynamic and ever-evolving sector.
