The 9th edition of Entertainment Arena Expo, held between September 2nd – 4th 2015, was a breath of fresh air for the event gathering the main players of the Romanian entertainment market. The extended exhibition area and the visitors’ number, which increased by almost 30% since the last edition, make us say for certain that the 2015 edition was one of the best of this exhibition. This result is coordinated with the development of this field, as well as with the beginning of things clearing up as far as the Romanian legislation is concerned.
The organizer, the Expo 24 company, can surely say that the previous assessments of this edition, which foresaw the transition of EAE from a national to a regional level were correct, since the exhibition is, at present, a regional pole that attracts visitors both from Romania and from the neighboring countries. The statement that the exhibition has become a regional event is supported by the profile of the foreign visitors, who came to Bucharest to look for new partners or customers for the countries they operate in, the collaboration and future contracts decided at Bucharest are about purchasing arcade game halls or casinos from neighboring countries.
In terms of statistics, the 2015 edition figures show:
51 exhibitors, 17 participating countries, 2 countries participating for the first time (USA and Lichtenstein), 1291 registered visitors and a total of 2097 visitors throughout the three opening days. Also, the conference or presentation type events number has increased, this year the third edition of “The Exact Time in Gambling” conference took place, organized by Casino Life & Business Magazine, as well as the first edition of the Romslot conference.
The anniversary edition number 10 of the Entertainment Arena Expo will take place between September 5th – 7th 2016, and it is already estimated to exceed in numbers this year’s edition.
