Dana Miricioiu, the best fundraiser for autistic children
This time, the charity event ‘Come to the restaurant… OUT OF LOVE FOR CHILDREN’, an initiative of Simona Chitac Media and Casino Life & Business Magazine, invited everyone to Chaboo Club, where the ‘Honorary Chefs’ raised money for the autistic and ADHD children at M Service Terapy Children Clinic.
Already at its sixth edition, the monthly event ‘Come to the restaurant… OUT OF LOVE FOR CHILDREN’ gathered together a wonderful audience and artists around the Chaboo Pool.
The role of ‘Honorary Chefs’ was played by Dana Miricioiu, Norris Mageanu, Gazi Demirel, Ștefan Szomoru (K1champion) and the child Nicholas Patrick Filimon.
The hosts for the evening were Romania TV reporter Madalina Sandulache and anchorman Vlad Ionescu (Șchool of Television). The guests who had dinner around the Chaboo Pool enjoyed a special artistic show, with wonderful people, adults and also children who held recitals for the less favored children. The evening debuted with drum beatings by Superchill band and went on with Selena children (George Tal, manager) and Bibi (Tommo Production).
Roxana Nemes had a sensational show and the audience danced to the music sung by special guest Carmen Serban. The evening surprise guest was Liviu Guta, who held a recital of chansonnettes and soiree music and Gazi Demirel ended the exceptional show.
Throughout the evening, the ‘Honorary Chefs’ served the guests with exquisite food from the menu of Chaboo Club, which gave all its support for a smooth organization of the event. The highest tips were collected by Dana Miricioiu, who said yes to the invitation to host the show along with Norris Mageanu.
The seventh edition will take place at Ambasad’Or Events in Otopeni, on September 11.
This March, Simona Chitac Media and Casino Life & Business Magazine, the first magazine on the gambling industry in Romania, launched the charity project called, ‘Come to the restaurant… OUT OF LOVE FOR CHILDREN’. The project is original and runs as a caravan through the restaurants in Bucharest. A few public persons/VIPs take the role of hosting and wait on tables for the audience, instead of the employed staff.
The winnings thus made (bills and tips) are donated to the therapy center for autistic and ADHD children, M Service Terapy Children Clinic, in Bucharest.
Every month the location and the guest stars are different. The role of ‘Honorary Chefs’ was before played by Adrian Artene, pilot Daniel Onoriu, Mihnea Popescu, President of Casino Life & Business Magazine, Anda Ghita, Mircea N. Stoian, Deea and Dinu Maxer, Diana Bisinicu, world kick-boxing champions Bogdan and Andrei Stoica, Benny Adegbuyi, Ionut ‘Pitubull’ Atodiresei, Ovidiu Buga, Rocsana Marcu, Daniela Crudu, Mihai Mitoseru, Costin Marculescu, Bogdan Vladau, Cristina Cioran, Sorana Darclee and many others.
A large number of artists accepted the invitation to the event meant for the autistic children, without asking any money for themselves: Loredana Benga, Stefania Calofir & George Calofir Band, June Anda, Daniela Gyorfy, Diana Constantin, baritone of the National Opera Iordache Basalic, tenor Alin Stoica, soprano Diana Gheorghe, Bogdan Vladau, Lav – Lavinia Stefan, Roxana Nemes, Cristi Rizescu, Gazi Demirel and so on.
