The end of September meant a new edition of Club Casino events
The ANPC President announced that the institution under his management would be a partner to the Conferinta Romana de Gambling.
The Club Casino series of events, initiated and organized by our publication, Casino Life & Business Magazine, aims to harmonize all the viewpoints of the professional associations in the gambling industry in our country and to promote informal communication and find cooperation means with the national authorities.
The Floreasca Club hosted the most recent edition of Club Casino on Tuesday, September 30 and had Mr. Marius Dunca, President of the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) as a guest.
The event was also attended by representatives of the professional associations, such as ROMBET and Romanian Bookmakers and also from the gambling sector, like Admiral, Game World, Integrate Accounting or Vesuvius Casino in Brașov.
The informal discussions, a signature of the Club Casino events, turned into several clear actions that the people in attendance will carry on along with ANPC, in the immediate future.
These discussions targeted the major issues that concern the complaints of the large public, mainly at the betting rooms, followed by the slot machines. The main criticism regards the change in the betting rates, smoking in non-smoking areas and also the winning percentage from the machines.
Besides other topics, the harmonization of the national and European legislation was another chapter of this event.
The officials from Romanian Bookmakers handed out a document on ‚The betting cancelation status (rate 1.00)’ to the ANPC President.
Among the joint actions of the industry representatives and ANPC is a code of good practices, useful for the operators during their daily activities.
The same people from Romanian Bookmakers undertook to file a document related to the ‚Responsible gaming’ project at the ANPC main office.
On the occasion of this Club Casino edition, Mr. Marius Dunca announced the ANPC partnership with the fourth edition of the Conferinta Romana de Gambling, to take place at the Palace of Parliament in February 2015.
Other partners are DGL PRO, Tiger Security and ROMBET association.
