We are also very pleased that our Romanian land-based and iGaming testing, audit, and inspection business has emerged over the past two years to become a market leader and an important part of our European footprint. In December 2019, we had the honor and the privilege of accepting the “Best Certification Laboratory Award” at the 13th Annual Casino Life and Business Magazine Gala. This event proudly marked the second year in a row that BMM has been recognized in this category, further distinguishing BMM as a market leader in Romania. We truly appreciate our customers’ support and confidence and are grateful for our local team of marker experts that made this all possible. From a global perspective, 2020 will see BMM expand its focus on bringing sophisticated cybersecurity solutions to our gaming customers. Our solutions focus on enhancing the cyber resilience of our customers through specialized 24/7 monitoring and incident response services, forensic investigation and threat intelligence capabilities, and a suite of professional services designed to identify and remediate any gaps in technology and processes.
I am pleased to announce that in January 2020, we have appointed Mr. Alexandru Petrescu, former Romanian Minister of Communication and Information Society and leading figure across the European cybersecurity landscape, to a leadership role for our global cybersecurity business. Based in Bucharest, Alex will be instrumental in harnessing the deep pool of cybersecurity expertise available in Europe and across the world, to help develop our solutions.
We look forward to introducing our customers to Alex at ICE 2020 and discussing how BMM’s suite of products and services can substantially mitigate risks of losses due to cyber attacks.
