She is 28, her nickname is fslexduck and she is behind the online username ‚V.Selbst’. This is what Vaness Selbst represents, one of the greatest poker player. In her free time, the young woman gets involved in political debates and does a lot of sport like basketball, tennis, snooker and darts. She graduated the Yale University, majoring in political sciences. Right now, she is going to the same University, seeking a Law degree. At the big live poker tournaments, Vaness Selbst has had some results beyond belief in just a few years. Her first final table was at the World Series of Poker in 2006. Then, she finished on the seventh at a USD 2,000 No Limit Hold’em and won a 101,285 dollars. She came back the next year and placed third at a Championship Heads-Up event.

In 2008, Vanessa Selbst won her first bracelet. The American player defeated other 759 people during a Pot Limit Omaha event of USD 1,500. She got the title, 227,993 dollars and the respect from everyone in the poker world. A series of major smashes at various tournaments followed, and Vanessa fully confirmed that she is one of the most talented players on the poker world stage. The highest cash prize she collected was of USD 1,648,470 at the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event.
