Superstars join the charity online poker tournament organised by actor Hank Azaria and screenwriter Andy Bellin and powered by PokerStars.
The last few days have attracted new superstars to the online poker charity tournament Stars CALL for Action powered by PokerStars and organised by actor Hank Azaria and journalist and screenwriter Andy Bellin.
Among the superstars who recently announced their participation is the football player Neymar Jr, but also celebrities like Lisa Kudrow, Liam Payne, Jack Black, Aaron Paul, Casey Affleck, Macaulay Culkin, Gabriel Macht and Mike Tindall.
They will join the stars, already registered for the tournament as well Edward Norton, Brian Koppelman, Amy Schumer, Bryan Cranston, Don Cheadle, Michael Cera, Jon Hamm, Jeff Garlin, David Schwimmer, Eric Bogosian, Jason Alexander, Brad Garrett, Michael Ian Black, Kevin Pollak, Tony Yazbeck and Max Kruse.
This special online poker tournament that raises vital funds for relief efforts during the current global crisis will be hosted at PokerStars and will be streamed live on Twitch, Facebook and YouTube on May 9 starting at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Poker fans can also place bets that the celebrity thinks will leave the tournament on a special market called the PokerStars Sports Market.
Viewers will be able to win both autographs and a variety of special surprises during the Twitch stream.
Fifty percent of the total donation as well as all proceeds donated via live streaming will go directly to Care International on behalf of those who play.
Grants to charities will be administered by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF)
