New PokerStars online series gives every player the chance to win a share of a guaranteed $50 million this summer
This summer just got hotter with the launch of Stadium Series, a new online tournament series from PokerStars that features 102 events, three different buy-in levels, and daily opportunities to join in for free.
Stadium Series will run for four weeks from July 5 – August 2, 2020, and with $50 million guaranteed anyone is in with a shot at glory. More than $2 million worth of Stadium Series tickets to Heat events, Sunday Finals and the series Grand Final will be awarded by PokerStars throughout the series and event buy-ins range from as little as $5.50 all the way up to $10,300.
How it works
Players can choose to take part in a ‘Heat tournament’ for each buy-in tier – Low, Medium, or High – every day of the week for four weeks. Every week will conclude with a Sunday Final for each tier, with the Week 4 High-tier Sunday final becoming the Grand Final main event.
But that’s not all. As the series progresses the action heats up with buy-ins and guarantees increasing week-by-week, Sunday Final tickets being added to daily heats and Grand Final tickets being added to Sunday Finals. Those looking to skip directly to the Grand Final for free will be given the chance to do so with a special Fast Track promotion. Fast Track tickets will be given away for free with Stars Rewards Spin & Go’s or through Fast Track tickets awarded in daily freerolls.
Cards-up streaming coverage
The later stages of most Stadium Series tournaments from July 13 onwards will be broadcast on Twitch and feature commentary by PokerStars’ own James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton.
And to bring players even closer to the action, Stadium Series will also be the first online series at PokerStars to feature cards-up coverage, which allows viewers to see the hole cards of players on a short delay.

Starting from June 22, players can win Stadium Series tickets via the Fast Track promotion, the High Stakes Poker Challenge, special Twitch community giveaways, and Stadium Series Spin and Go’s, as well as the big daily tournaments in the regular PokerStars schedule.
Southern Europe and Italy will both have their own Stadium Series. For France, Spain and Portugal, the total series guarantee is €5 million with €1 million guaranteed in the €250 buy-in Grand Final. Italians can also share in the excitement with €3 million guaranteed and €500,000 guaranteed in the €250 Grand Final.
