SCOOP 2018 started on May 6 on PokerStars for an action packed 15-day event and boasts the biggest ever series guarantee for any PokerStars series with a $65 million overall guarantee as well as $150,000 in coveted Platinum Passes to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) in The Bahamas.

The popular series will incorporate lots of events, formats, buy-ins and prize pools designed to suit all bankrolls with at least one $1 million guaranteed tournament per day. Once again, the series will run with three levels (Low, Medium and High), with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $25,000.

Various PokerStars Ambassadors will be playing at the SCOOP tables as well as streaming the events. Members confirmed to play during the series include Lex Veldhuis, Felix Schneiders, Jaime Staples, Kevin Martin, Benjamin Spragg, Fintan Hand and Randy Lew. Bets can be placed on the odds of these PokerStars ambassadors going on to win a Platinum Pass in a SCOOP Main Event on BetStars.

“My favourite thing about SCOOP is the huge lifechanging prizes, even in small buy-in tournaments, which are a great way for people to jumpstart their poker careers. It is always nice to dream of winning big,” said PokerStars Ambassador Mikhail Shalamov.
