EAG International Expo 2022

Safety of all participants will be overriding at EAG International Expo 2022

Casino Life & Business Magazine is the only traditional media partner from Romania of EAG International.

After a two-year interval the Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming International Expo (EAG) will return to ExCeL London on 11th-13th January 2022.

The event’s organisers are reporting significant pent-up demand with floor space almost sold out and a high level of visitor interest from both the UK and overseas.
For Organiser Karen Codd, the overriding consideration is the safety and welfare of each and every one of the show’s participants: “We’re delighted at the response to EAG 2022 and we’re anticipating a bumper event. I should stress however that events in the UK are now operating under a raft of new restrictions and protocols designed to protect us all during the current Covid Pandemic.
“I wish to reassure everyone that we’ve been collaborating with exhibitors, contractors and, of course, ExCeL management to ensure that EAG 2022 will take place in a covid-safe way, conforming to the latest Government and Industry protocols.
“Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we ask for patience and tolerance in complying with the safety measures that have been introduced. The show will have a different feel from previous years, but most of us are already only too familiar with the type of measures that have been put in place. The ExCeL campus has a great inherent advantage in that show visitors can stay and dine close-by, avoiding the need for public transport during the three days at ExCeL,” assures Karen.
To gain access to ExCeL, visitors will be required to present proof of double vaccination, COVID-19 antibodies, or proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within the previous 48 hours. UK visitors can use their NHS COVID- Pass and international visitors the equivalent from their country of origin. There will be an antigen testing facility on site and the wearing of face masks is advised throughout ExCeL unless the visitor is exempt.
Visitor registration for EAG International 2022 will be online with attendees printing their own badge, ready for contactless scanning at the exhibition hall entrance.
ExCeL staff have been trained to deliver enhanced cleaning procedures with specific focus on touch points, whilst washrooms will have their own dedicated team and will benefit from entry control systems. Exhibitors have been asked to prioritise hygiene and safety when designing and operating their stands. Showgoers can take comfort in the knowledge that ExCeL has uprated its ventilation system and will be monitoring air quality to avoid overcrowding.
Karen Codd continues: “For many visitors, EAG International may be the first large-scale event for some time, and we’re keen to ensure that they can relax in the knowledge that every detail has been scrutinised.

Optimism, enthusiasm, and exciting new products on the menu for EAG Expo 2022
Karen Codd: “We have been astonished by the level of optimism and enthusiasm for the January event. Regular exhibitors have been quick to rebook their spaces and we’re still gaining new exhibitors. Despite two years of disruption, suppliers and manufacturers are confirming new product launches and product enhancements. What we are seeing is way beyond resilience, it’s a positivity based on a genuine demand for new products,” assured Karen.
The almost palpable enthusiasm is reflected in comments from exhibitors:
Justin Burke, General Manager Sales and Marketing, at Sega Amusements International revealed: “The first EAG post pandemic, I think, will be huge. The desire for operators and suppliers to regroup, catch up socially and talk business will be very strong. It’s going to be a great show!” SEGA Amusements International will be showcasing nine new titles, including an explosive video redemption game under the blockbuster Men In Black™ franchise.
According to Managing Director Paul Adams, Pan Amusements is also expecting a productive show: “We have experienced a real boom since coming out of lockdown with orders here in the UK and overseas. Our operations side has also had an exceptional year that has gone from strength to strength; we are looking forward to meeting up with all our customers and friends again,” anticipated Paul. Pan Amusements will be displaying their single player Monster Mash Gallery, featuring nine interactive targets, digital sound, background music and attract mode. Monster Mash Gallery comes equipped with a multi-mech, is compatible with all card readers, and has a 12-month warranty on all parts.
Leeds-based jukebox manufacturer NSM Music has a rich 70-year heritage, employing pioneering and state-of -the-art technologies for its customers across five continents. Sales Manager Alex Kirby revealed: “Whether it’s music content, video, or the latest hardware technology, NSM Music prides itself on being a one-stop music solution with fantastic technical support and after-sales. “We expect that EAG International Expo 22 will be an exciting show and are looking forward to catching up once again with our customers and friends. As always, we will have plenty to shout about. We will be showcasing the Thunder, Lightning, Infinity, Curve, and Icon BGM, as well as our latest apps, Co-Pilot and NSM Music,” revealed Alex.
EAG International will continue its tradition of hosting a thought-provoking seminar programme and, as always, will offer unparalleled networking, both on the exhibition floor and at the numerous social events taking place during the show.
