PokerStars-sponsored Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) São Paulo, where Neymar Jr finished 6th in the Super High Roller event, cashing $21,470.
The tournament registered 288 entries with a total prize pool of R$1,7 million ($460,000).
Fans and friends showed up at the tournament room to root for Neymar Jr who was welcoming throughout, taking pictures and signing autographs.
Over 16,400 people tuned in to watch one of the best football players in the world on the live stream.
Neymar Jr wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance at BSOP. Manchester City striker and fellow Brazilian national Gabriel Jesus also joined the action at the Main Event on Monday, July 23.
