The poker festival Israel Poker Tour returns to Bucharest with its 4th edition at the Marriott hotel during August 17-24.
€200,000 are guaranteed for the Main Event and €40,000 for the Side Events, so that the total will sum up to €240,000 for guaranteed prizes, and 10 cash tables will also be prepared.
As usual, at the eve of the starting day of the main tournament the classical super-satellites are played, with Ron120 R+A. There are four super-satellites, but there is a great chance for a hyper-turbo last chance for the ones left waiting for the last one – as it happened at the IPT 3 and at PokerFest Mamaia.
Lately, the PokerFest side-events which used to be ignored by most of the players have become very popular themselves, gathering record numbers of players and surprising prizes.
At their top we have the €1000 High-Roller which has three satellites of its own. At the other end of the spectrum there is the cheapest side-event, 1Rebuy+1Addon, which costs Ron170. In between we can find a NLH Turbo Re-Entry (€110) and a Turbo Second-Chance (Ron230), a Progressive Knockout (Ron430) and the Ron550 Mini-Event.
Furthermore, over 200 Israeli players announced their participation, representing the largest participation in the history of IPTs. At the last edition of the Israel Poker Tour the trophy was won by Marius Gicovanu, who surpassed a field of 623 players and won almost €51,000.
The secret weapons of the festival are the ten cash tables which will be open non-stop throughout the duration of the series. The cash marathon will end with “Hot Cash Game Action”, on Monday, August 24, starting at noon, when the game has an exceptional intensification, considering that the Israelis are just about to leave and place the craziest stakes up to the last moment.
The Israeli partner of the organizer announced that at this moment there are 200 players (poker is completely forbidden in Israel) registered for the journey.
