IGT had a third quarter of 2019 very strong, reporting revenue of $ 1.15 billion, up three per cent.
The major slot machine manufacturer saw sales of its machines up 44 per cent and CEO Marco Sala said: “Our leading positions are rooted in our focus on player-driven performance.”
The company generated cash flow over $ 450 million in the first nine months of the year, but operating income fell 23 per cent from $ 200 million to $ 154 million and EBITDA fell from $ 257 million to $ 221 million.
During the third quarter the company shipped 4,941 slot machines in the North American market, a sharp rise from the 3,841 of the same third quarter of 2018. Internationally, the group delivered 5,244 slot machines compared with 3,210 slot machines in the same quarter of last year, resulting a rise of 63.4 per cent.
IGT is anticipating a full-year EBITDA in the range of $ 1.6-$1.7 billion, which would be unchanged.
