Casinos Poland owned by Century Casinos reopens all its eight venues following the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
Casinos Poland’s eight venues have reopened following the easing of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions in the country.
The casinos closed on March 13 to comply with the measures imposed by the Polish government to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The regulation lifting the enforced closure of the casinos includes social distancing protocols and enhanced health and safety measures that must be followed.
Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co-Chief Executive Officers of Century Casinos, said: “We look forward to welcoming our guests and team members back to our Polish casinos. This is a first but very important step to lead our company back to normal operations.”
Casinos Poland is 66.6 per cent owned by Colorado-based Century Casinos.
Century Casinos became the majority shareholder of Polish casinos in April 2013.
The difference of 33.3% of the shares remained in the possession of the Polish state company, LOT Polish Airports.
Its eight venues include casinos at the Marriott Hotel and Hilton Hotel in Warsaw and at the at Dwór Kosciuszko Hotel in Krakòw.
Last year, the group expanded the gaming floor and offering at the Marriott Warsaw casino.
