Amsterdam West-Sloterdijk, one of the Holland Casinos brand wins best casino award as the best casino in the Netherlands.
The Amsterdam West-Sloterdijk was voted the Casino of the Year by casino review site Onetime. It found that the venue’s safety protocols, coupled with the work and commitment of the employees, surpassed those of any other casino.
The award is in its fifth year, using a professional jury and the public in a vote for their favourite. Different casino locations and also the hundreds of slot machine arcades in the Netherlands were visited.
Twelve nominations competed for the award and the Amsterdam venue came out on top with the professional jury and second with the public for an overall win.
It is the second time that Holland Casinos has won the Best Casino title; the first time was in 2018 when Holland Casino Nijmegan was the winner.
Earliers this year the state owned gambling company Holland Casino posted its first half results showing a decline of 60% in revenues for the year, with a loss of €28 million due to the pandemic lockdown within the country.
