Alexandru Ion, Founder of Nexus Gaming is keynote speaker at the first edition of the international conference eSports Business Summit 21.
The recently launched event attracts important names in the industry. Among them are Tudor Dăescu, Alexandru Ion, the Founder of Nexus Gaming, who will be a keynote speaker in one of the business panels of the event.
Alexandru Ion is one of the pioneers of electronic sports in Romania with the Nexus Gaming business that was born in 2013 in the form of a gaming-themed cafe.
Currently, the Nexus brand operates several verticals: the Esports team that ranks in the top 50 in the world at CS:GO, the video production company and the marketing influencer agency Nexus Media.
At the same time, Nexus organizes the third season of the Romanian Esports League, the largest electronic sports event in Romania. In addition to its own products, Nexus are co-founders of the Gaming Marathon project, an event that has already reached maturity after 6 successful editions.
Alexandru deepens the gaming phenomenon in his doctoral research at the Faculty of Marketing within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
In addition to his passion for gaming, Alexandru has been the Chief Marketing Officer at foodpanda Romania since January 2019.
The international conference eSports Business Summit 21 is scheduled to take place online, on a modern platform, on April 20, 2021, starting at 10:30 EEST (Romanian time).
According to previous experiences, the organizers expect the number of participants in the event to exceed 1,200.
The official language of eSports Business Summit 21 is English.
