The 42nd edition of ENADA (International Amusement & Gaming Machine Show at Fiera di Roma from 15th to 17th October) confirms its key role in the sector, also regarding all-round training and information. 85 BILLION EURO: THIS IS THE GAMING WORLD IN ITALY
An insight on the sector showcased at ENADA Rome thanks to the calculations of SAPAR’s “Automat Study Centre”
85 billion euro – this is the amount of takings from games and gaming in Italy for 2013: to be exact, the total is 84 billion 728 million, however it is down compared to the 88 billion reached the previous year. The comparison is the result of the calculations by the “Automat Study Centre” of SAPAR (Italy’s national association of public recreation attraction equipment) which, along with Rimini Fiera, is organizing the 42nd edition of ENADA, International Amusement & Gaming Show, at Fiera di Roma from October 15th to 17th.
Before beginning to examine the figures, certain specifications are necessary:
-Licences for gaming activities are divided into those issued according to Art. 88 TULPS (Consolidated Act of Public Safety Laws), which are betting shops, corners, dedicated venues and bingo halls, and Art. 86 TULPS (public and commercial facilities and private clubs);
-VLT (video lottery terminals) can only be installed in betting agencies, bingo halls and venues exclusively dedicated to “Comma 6 Art. 110 TULPS machines (NewSlot and VLT);
-Regarding the “Professional List”, is must be emphasized that a person can be registered simultaneously in various sections of the list.
