In calitate de parteneri media traditionali ai evenimentelor ce se desfasoara la inceput de an in Londra, la ExCel London Exhibition Centre, redam in randurile de mai jos comunicatul primit pe adresa redactiei privind EAG International si Visitor Attraction Expo.
On 17-19th January, with the seasonal holidays a mere memory, members of the amusements and attractions industry will journey to London for EAG International and the Visitor Attraction Expo. With the shows combining to deliver a strong start to the New Year, attendance is viewed by many as an essential part of their preparations for the coming season.
First and foremost, EAG and the VAE are about serious business. Exhibitors from Europe and further afield, will be putting the finishing touches to their presentations. Many will treat the shows as the European launch platform for the very latest games and technology. Exhibitors will be rewarded with high quality visitors who come to buy, and to catch up with their industry peers at the numerous events and seminars surrounding the event.
Speaking about the quality of visitors at this year’s EAG, Whitehouse Leisure’s Phil Setter commented, “An extremely positive show with our booths well-attended. We’ve had good orders and there is an appetite for spending money.”
Rhian Gordon, Regional Director at first-time VAE exhibitor Espresso Essential was also impressed, saying, “The most eclectically successful show we’ve ever done. We’ve had leads from across the board.”
For 2017 the two shows will welcome exciting new exhibitors including, Barron Games, Direct Leisure, Heber, Huatong Technology Co, Huggables, JayBox, Lockyers, Play Fitters, seeper, Valley-Dynamo and the Yuehua Token Co.
Also new for 2017 will be an enlarged educational seminar programme. Free of charge and open to all, the programme will address subjects as diverse as Cashless Systems in the FEC, Engaging with Trip Advisor and Viator, Music Licensing, The Creation of Inclusive and Intergenerational Play Spaces, Exceeding Visitor Expectations and Blending Childcare With Existing Leisure Businesses.
EAG and VAE are also about networking, with many participating organisations scheduling their own events around the shows. The event’s timing, right at the start of the New Year, is perfect for discussing the previous year’s trading and making plans for the forthcoming season. The traditional “After Hours at EAG” reception, taking place on the Wednesday evening at Fox Bar, is regarded by many as the industry’s main social event.
