Tiger Security, security company on the market since 1999, will mark its 15th anniversary next year.
We are talking to Mr. Bogdan Sovar , the General Manager of the company, about how his company passed a new year of crisis :
“2013 us was a challenging year, a year in which we managed to increase our portfolio and become even more famous on the security market. We found that our reputation on the Romanian market is primarily due to satisfied customers who in turn recommended us further.
I believe that part of the customer satisfaction is based mainly on the “feed-back” system implemented in our company , in accordance with ISO standards.
On this occasion I wish to thank both large and small customers of our company, such as Afi Palace, Saint Gobain , Mega Image, Christoph , Colosseum Retail Park and InterSport , for the trust they granted us for securing them over 2013.
In 2013, Tiger Security has reached more than 1,700 employees, the company being awarded in the top 10 companies in The Romanian Top Security Companies, in a ranking conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest.
Mr. Sovar explains: “We are proud of our steady growth in turnover, even in a crisis period.
Today, after 14 years, we are entering in the period of maturity, in which we want to consolidate or position on the Romanian security market. ”
“We are recommended especially by the way we perform tasks for our clients, with a management structure very close to execution people, it means by the agents themselves.”
The upward trend we have is mainly due to the transparency that we show towards our beneficiaries, transparency mainly manifested in the costs they have with their guards.
In consequence, 85 % of the cost charged by our company represents the personnel salaries and fees that are operating in a specific location.
The difference of 15% represents the equipment and other activity expenditures.
“For us, our first step in 2013 was completing its own site of approximately 3000 square meters, immediately followed by the completion of our Dispatch. The Dispatch is a separate component in the security firms as generally serves for Monitoring and Intervention services.
This service helps to monitor remote targets with the help of “low-cost” security solutions, based on the latest technologies (GPRS communication, video surveillance and transmitting images to a specific Internet address, store images on hard dedicated).
Thus, in 2013 we started a whole process of technology, in order to improve the quality of the services we provide. Together with our Bulgarian partners, we were able to put into practice an innovative solution within our Dispatch based on real-time surveillance of the energy industry locations.
Data transmission is realized by a fiber system established between the customer and our dispatcher. In case, we notice any problems to that specific location, we send our intervention teams.
For securing private apartments and special properties we are coming with a new monitoring system that allows the combination of several apartments in the same central alarm.
Our automated solutions have a wide range of applicability. For example, if you have a holiday house and a heating system connected to our dispatch, we can turn on the heat few hours before your arrival at that location.
Also, opening and closing the garage of the house can be done either via Dispatcher or by sending one SMS to Central installed by our company.
In order to optimize the routes used by our intervention teams we have implemented several soft solutions for our Dispatch to help us bypassing the heavy traffic jams periods.
In order to implement all these technical solutions we have obtained the approval of the Romanian Capital Police, our Dispatch becoming one of the first operative centers of its kind operating nationwide.
After obtaining the approval and the implementation our Dispatch nationwide we have developed our car fleet in order to considerably minimize the intervention delays to all the objectives we monitor.
Additionally, with the completion of the new office, we opened in with the approval of the Romanian authorities the arms and values safety chamber, for both – Intervention structure of the company and our clients eager to maximum safety. ”
Another challenge for us in the 2013 was the moment we took over another security company. Once the assimilation of the assets and customers, we have taken its staff, starting immediately to the training the people in accordance with our standards. We mention in this context that the services provided by us are in accordance with the European Quality Management System, and also European Environmental Management System which also justify our involvement in numerous projects on sustainable green energy segment.
Also, we obtained the NATO certificate attesting us as “NATO economical trader”. Thus, in 2013 we attended several auctions for NATO targets outside Romania and hopefully in 2014 we will expand outside the country in the projects undertaken by the Northern Alliance.
Also, in 2013 we were certified as “professional trainer” by the Authorization Committee Training Providers of Bucharest. The Certification allows us to train our employees in the “private security” domain, having the opportunity to develop our company in the further year.
On the 1st of December, on The Romania’s National Day, we participated with security and intervention forces in the event of Calarasi. The event was the first of its kind in our country, the company being among the first of security companies invited to join the parade along other structures of the Romanian national security forces.
Starting with the desire to involve ourselves in social events, we organized an off-road 4×4 trial in the humanitarian national campaign “Help Daniel!” The event was organized with the support of the off-road Club GTC Monster Trophy, helping the cause of raising funds for Daniel.
Taking into account all our efforts made in 2013, we can look forward in next year more confident on own position on the market.
