AOPJNR – Association of Gambling Organizers and Producers from Romania – is the first professional employers’ association established to represent entrepreneurs in the gambling industry, since 1995.
Throughout its existence, with the beginning when it was for a long time the sole representative of the interests of operators and producers, until now when there are several professional associations grouped by types of game, visions and common goals of their members, AOPJNR and -made a decisive contribution to the support and promotion of a fair legislative framework in the field, in the interest of the majority of organizers but also of the other parties involved in this activity, the state and the players, being a traditional partner in the debate with the regulatory authorities.
The permanent concern is the consolidation and development of the category of medium-level organizers, mainly domestic capital from traditional land base games.
Small and medium-sized organizers should be able to evolve, and the performance of large ones should be a model to follow, as long as it is obtained on a competitive basis, without artificially raised legislative barriers in the way of others.
AOPJNR promotes Responsible Gaming and has the motto: Together, we are stronger!
The 11th edition of the Central European Gambling Summit – CEGS23, will take place on May 23-24, 2023 at the well-known Magic Place Grant location in Bucharest, Romania. The event will be accompanied by a strictly B2B boutique-style exhibition for the entire duration of the two days, but also by a super party that will take place on the first evening.
An important focus of the event will be on the digitization of the gambling industry, but also on solutions for traditional gambling.
The combined event will be held under the motto: Digital Era and Traditional Gambling.
Honorary President of the event is Silviu Pocora, Vice-President with duties of President of the National Office for Gambling.
