The year of 2008 ended with special results for the Romanian poker players within live tours, culminating with Ciprian Hrisco’s performance of placing second at EPT Budapest. Live poker has grown in popularity in recent years and online poker rooms have began focusing their attention on live events. One of the most popular poker rooms in Europe to have turned its attention towards live events is Unibet Poker. In 2008, Unibet organized four live tours in Prague, Madrid, Milan and Warsaw, each of the four having prizes totaling over EUR 400,000!
