The Isle of Capri Casinos Company which operates a casino in St. Louis has taken over the management of Greektown Casino in Detroit.
The casino, found currently in the procedure of bankruptcy, has been run so far by the company Fine Point Group, the contract of which expired on Dec. 31st 2009.
The new operator will be paid with $200,000 a month during the first 6 months, and afterwards, the sum will increase by $50,000. “We believe in the potential of this casino, especially given the conditions in which it will have an experienced management”, believes Virginia Mc- Dowell, chairman of Isle of Capri.
The American press comments that signing the new management contract is a sign that the market returns on a climbing trend.
